About Us
LUMotorsport is a student-run Formula Student team comprising members from a range of disciplines, from Automotive Engineering to Business Management. Unlike many other teams, LUMotorsport is entirely managed by students, with staff offering support only when needed.
The team handles every aspect—from designing and building a new car each year to managing finances, health and safety, and business operations—all while balancing the demands of their degree programs.

​After ten months of design, build and test is complete, the team is ready to take on the other Formula Student competitors from Universities across the world.
​
From an endurance 22km stint that tests the car's reliability to a series of events that test the team's knowledge of the car's design and cost, Formula Student events always prove to be enriching, social and challenging experiences.

All in the aim of enriching the next generation of engineers.
