About Formula Student
Formula Student is an annual engineering competition held for university students, focused on the design, development, and racing of a small, single-seater race car.

What is Formula Student?
Formula Student (FS) is the UK’s most established student motorsport competition, run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
The event challenges students to design, build, and race a Formula-style race car from scratch each year.

Students are tasked with designing a open wheel race car to a set of regulations and be capable of defending the engineering decisions along the way.
